On July 3, 2000-

Two of my best friends were married, and I was fortunate enough to witness it. As the days go by and months just disappear. Until an anniversary arrives and memories fill you mind and emotion fills your heart. Well this blog goes out to my one surviving best friend. No that's not a missprint. Although they were married on July 03, 2000 she passed away on September 22, 2000 she died of a brain tumor in the prime of her life. There wasn't a better couple in the world than these two beautiful people.

As much as I miss Carolyn, and I know how much he misses her, our lives have gone on. I lost one of them I wasn't about to loose my last best friend.

The picture of the gazebo above is located in Boulder City, NV. That's where I was living with my abusive husband when she passed. I no longer live there, nor with him. And I owe it all to my best friend Steve. I thank God everyday that I have him in my life, because had it not been for him I wouldn't be writing this today. We kept in touch talking at least once a month on the phone. As we grieved together for our loss, he nurtured me through some extremely bad times. Almost everytime I called him, to say "hi, how are you" or in tears scared for my life. I did it in that gazebo in Boulder City, NV. It sits in a beautiful park in the center of old town Boulder City.

So on this beautiful day, I wanted to take the time to let the world (or who ever reads this) know how much I love this man. I know he won't read this, and he already knows how much I love and cherish him. I just needed the world to know that bad things don't always happen only to good people.

We to are blessed with a beautiful day, specially when you have a best friend like Carolyn sitting on your shoulder passing on any messages you have for God, that he might have missed. She loved us both so very much while she was alive, and she will see to it that neither one of us has a lonely day again, for the rest of our lives.

I'll always be there for you, as you will for me. Whether it's on this oh so sad day, or the happiest day of your life.

I'll never leave your side Steve, I love you.
